Animals adapt by getting fur or other coats for protection depending on their living area

There are many ways in which an animal is capable of adapting to its surroundings. Animals adapt in order to survive and thrive in the area they are surrounded by. For example a Polar bears fur and temperature tolerance is an adaptation, being surrounded by white snow allows the polar bears white fur to blend in. Their thick fur is used to keep them warm due to their extremely cold weather. Many animals adapt to their conditions with their size of their ears, mouth and sometimes even their body size. Like a giraffes long neck that allows them access to the tops of trees for food.
