•Poetic techniques—Sound devices and/ or rhyme scheme contribute to overall effect of the poem --6 points

•Figurative language—a minimum of three examples, including a simile or metaphor--6 points

•Graphic elements—line length, capitalization, punctuation and spelling help express ideas in an intentional not haphazard way -- 3 points

•Poem submitted to Check My Work--3 points
