could probably reach the moon. I trained my mind the way a bodybuilder trains her muscles. This was the only way
to become an expert problem
solver, and that's just what an astronaut is.
_ I had to solve my biggest problem: my own self-doubt. When I was a child, no one ever told me I could be an astronaut. In fact,
many people told me quite the opposite. I had to convince myself to try. I told myself that each puzzle I solved, each project I finished, each book!
