Preliminary results of a new study suggest that one of every five, or 20% of, New York City residents tested positive for antibodies to the
coronavirus. This would mean that about 20% of New Yorkers have previously been exposed to this virus.
The study drew this conclusion from random testing of about 1,300 people in New York City over the course of two days. Blood was
drawn from people who were shopping at grocery
and big-box stores. The blood was analyzed at a highly respected state lab, and their
