When deciding whom to vote for in any election, think about one or two issues that are most important to you. For example, do you care about job-creation programs? Are you interested in education reform? Look for each candidate’s voting record on those topics and read any statements they have made. Visit the candidates’ websites, too. Remember, though, that these sites were created to highlight the candidates’ best qualities. Confirm what you find there by seeking out independent sources.
