Which ending would most likely disappoint a reader?

I agree with the other respondent on sad endings often disappointing readers, but I wanted to add on to it by saying that dissatisfying endings that don’t tie together all of the loose knots of the story usually disappoint readers as well because they expect everything to be solved by the end.
