Hi, I'm learning textual linguistics and I need some help to solve the following sentences for my exam tomorrow. Basically, this is what we have as an example task: In the following examples, comment on the underlined words and the cohesive tie they illustrate (co-reference, substitution, connectors and connectedness, ellipses and lexical cohesion) below each example. How are the underlined words used and how they contribute to cohesion? One-word answers are not expected!
