PROJECT: PARAPHRASING Paraphrasing requires active reading. You must do more than simply scan or skim a passage in order to put it in your own words. If you can paraphrase an article, you can be sure that you are retaining the information and getting the "gist" of it. This project is an opportunity to practice your paraphrasing skills.
