Finish the last paragraph and a half of this 9/11 first person narrative for me. it was a sunny tuesday morning. i was a bit tired from the new york giants versus denver broncos game that ran on pretty late the night before. nonetheless i woke up early as i always did, threw on my lucky brown suit with my matching brown tie and hopped on the train. the train ride, per usual, was extremely boring. as i hopped off the train and took a deep breathe of that new york city air i smiled. as it was a huge day for me. the firm was taking pitches all day for new ideas to make the company boom again as our stocks weren’t doing too well. so with money, aspiration, and hope clouding my mind, i walked through the streets of the big apple with a smile on my face just knowing today would be a big day. at the door of the firm, i opened the door for a young lady that couldn’t be older than 23 or 24 years old. she had an strong aroma from expensive perfume that someone down the street could smell. she too had the same aspiration i had in becoming the savior of the company with her possibly great pitch towards the board. as i walked into my area waiting for pitches to be announced i dapped up my good pal, jason, a japanese worker here who’s been with the company for 13 years. i hoped the best for him, as he has not gotten a second look from the higher ups since he somehow managed to get a job here. i checked my montblanc watch every two seconds because i was incredibly impatient. i checked my watch one last time. 8: 45. i straightened my tie and then a large boom a few blocks away caused the way i looked at life to change forever. as i looked out the window i saw people rushing down the street screaming. what could possibly be so bad? i ran out the building along with all of my coworkers who were just as curious as myself. as i turned left, the exact opposite direction everyone was running, i was instantly shaken up. the south tower was on fire! at first i thought that there was an explosion somehow but after further questioning a man said that a plane had flew into the tower. astounded, i stared as the south tower burned. a thick, dark cloud of smoke started to flood the sky. it truly was a scene straight out of the movies. and what followed afterwards was truly horrific. a second plane hit the north tower! as people ran and debris fell i had to run with them. so many things were running through my mind.
