On the picture on the left you can see a family eating at the table. Three generations are present.

On the picture on the right you can see a lonely woman eating at the table. There is noone else visible.

There are more people on the first picture than on the other picture. The first picture represents family atmosphere, while the second picture represents loneliness.

I think that the first picture is more welcoming than the one on the right. I would prefer to participate in the scene on the first picture.

In conclusion: the two picture contrast family atmosphere to loneliness.
