The Old Regime set up an unfair system. The peasants were forced to pay almost half their income in taxes, and when prices began to rise, they demanded reforms. When the king and the other estates refused to help, they created their own independent body, the National Assembly.

The French Revolution simply refers to the period of social upheaval that occurred in France. It took place between 1787 to 1799.It should be noted that the people wanted the way that they were governed by their rulers. They wanted to redefine the nature of the political power that their rulers had.There was also social inequality. The whites that were in the country were treated better than the black people. The people also had to pay lots of taxes.

In conclusion, the French Revolution was vital as it helped in spreading French culture and ending social inequality in the country.

an argumentative essay presents objectively a topic and its main characteristics. besides, it states all this information and facts by giving authentic and substantiated proof to the audience. by contrast, a persuasive text purpose is to convince the audience about some facts by presenting them according to his/her emotions and feelings. the main purpose of a persuasive text is to convince the audience to agree with the author´s opinion. on the other hand, in the argumentative essay, the author leads the writer to recognize his/her point of view as the correct one.
