We don't need birds, but we do need jobs. nature lovers are trying to keep dialys, a computer company, from building a new plant on the wildlife preserve. they say that the endangered bird species that lives there is more important than the economy. but it's jobs that are really endangered. last year, the american economy lost more than 10,000 jobs, and it just keeps getting worse. what claim is the author making in the passage? a. providing jobs is more important than protecting wildlife. b. the species of bird in question is not actually endangered. c. nature lovers are not practical people. d. birds can be dangerous in certain situations

        its hard for some people to get along and that’s the case for douglass and canot. most of the time when people do not agree with each other its because they have different presperctives, and that is the case here.

captain canot was never a slave so but he was a slaver and a slave ship captain and just like the slave master's he tought it was it was totally normal, he used captain conot is a cruel man who enjoys whipping slaves but never   got whipped he saw it has a destiny for the slave to be a slave and the slaver to be a slaver   but douglass has suffered whoppings cut   even for no reason sometimes. douglass believed that slavery was not natural to black people, they need to study and learn how to read and write. he knew they have rights.

it was really not the captain’s fault he was just brainwashed by the system and when your brainwashed by the system its hard not to be brainwashed. but the reason douglass wants this is because he has suffered he knows how it feels and will do anything to stop that.

the illustration   that would give a reader a clear understanding of the text is a picture of men constructing the frame of a building.the frame is made of iron bars. the text describes the job of blacksmiths'. these were very organised and they had different names: "the driver" and "the heater". the text describes the way in which these men worked ; they worked iron pieces as if they were playing a sport. in fact, the text wants to show the men's skills. the text also puts some emphasis on the use of '' rivets'' in construction. this kind of nails were not always used in the construction of manhattan.
