What are the advantages and disadvantages of producing a one-person show?

A one-person show has the advantage of not having to deal and harmonize with several people, so only one person stars and is on display, which prevents competition among actors and hurting other people's egos. Besides,  one-show productions tend to have a lower budget, and if the protagonist also produces the show, he has the freedom to manage it at his or her pleasure.

On the other hand, the actor-producer is responsible for the losses and debts, and has to deal with the complete management and media attention of the show.

well stockyards mean a large yard containing pens and sheds, typically adjacent to a slaughterhouse, in which livestock is kept and sorted. and i'm assuming that by party you   mean a large group of people which does make sense because chicago is a very crowded place much like new york. stockyards tend to take up a lot of room due to needing the area for pens to keep animals in and the fact that stockyards are usually right by slaughterhouse where they process and distribute the product. so its much like a zoo but with some dead animal products close by.
