A problem with the American education system that I would like to tackle is the finite opportunities for challenged students to reach the same level of understanding of their course materials as other students whether it be due to encumbering extracurriculars, demanding financial circumstances, or a basic misunderstanding of a particular subject matter. All students should have at least an affordable if not pro bono school-organized tutoring system available to them in my opinion. Hope this helped!
