Gandhi admired the British Empire for the redevelopment in India and was also a passionate supporter. This also gave him freedom to travel to other countries such as Britain and South America. His travels opened him to different thoughts about life. With his statements, there is a possibility that his readers would think that there were advantages of being a British supporter. It will also give us readers the impression that there were good things that the British Empire made for the country India.
