1. In "Marriage is a Private Affair," Nnaemeka obviously respects his father but he also does not want to blindly follow his orders because of love. In "A Meeting in the Dark," John's father also does not approve of his choice for a wife. Both fathers care deeply about religion and heritage.

2. Self-worth is fueled by a sense of pride and this pride often comes from achievements or communal solidarity. When colonizers attempt to take away the land of native Africans, they see it as an attachment to their heritage, their pride, and ultimately, their self-worth. They will try to resist until they are no longer capable of doing so. When this happens, their self-worth decreases which are also the start of the end of their tribal heritage.

In the prompt 1, the questions aim to know how the two events are affected by the personalities of the young men and their parents. it is seen that in the two stories the young men are worried about the disapproval that their relationship has by their parents.

In the prompt 2, For the Africans, a sense of pride is important to a sense of self-worth and the history of the colonial rule due to the fact that these people have been ruled by different countries in which they are different in culture and language of the Africans. Thus, having a sense of pride in their own personal cultures and languages gives them a sense of self-worth to themselves no matter if they have been ruled by different countries.

answer: if i wer cyberbullied i would at first try to stop it and settle it out with the person but if they didnt i probaly would be scared to tell somebody so i would probaly not tell anyone but when it gets out of hand i told my parents and they settled it with the child and told them to quit but they didnt so i told them stop but they didnt untill my mom saw a rude message they sent me and called the cops so it got settled and i forgave the person and now were freinds.
