Friar Laurence says that Romeo is not being rational and he is not using his head. He also states that Romeo is showing that he is ungrateful for his own life. Also saying that if Romeo were gone Juliet would die too. Friar says Romeo should live because he went through all the trouble to battle Tybalt and instead of executing Romeo the Prince was kind enough to exile him instead, and Romeo should be thankful. Friar also goes on to say that Romeo cannot control his feelings and since he cannot control his emotions he is acting like a girl. Friar also tells Romeo that he has natural talent and that he should start using them the right way.
