Lord of the flies chapter 3: in this chapter, ralph talks to jack about the nightmares the younger boys have been experiencing about a “beastie” or “snake-thing” one them claimed to see in the forest. should this fear among the boys be something ralph and jack should be worried about? why or why not?

In my opinion : "Though Ralph and Jack are two boys that the "littluns" look to, they are still young boys who do sometimes become afraid of things that aren't really there. The littluns are afraid of something, which we assume is in their dreams, and they take it to the older boys because they imagine this is very real. Being alone on an uninhabited island with no adults can cause many fears to stir up, for not just the younger boys but the older boys as well. This uncertainty can lead to silent fears in the older boys. Healthy fear of things unknown is good, because you can never be too cautious. The problem that lies in their worry is if they blow it out of proportion."
