Arrange the events of act 3, scene 1, from romeo and juliet in the correct order. benvolio tries to solve the matter peacefully, but mercutio tries to pick a fight with tybalt. romeo doesn't want to fight against tybalt because they are now cousins by marriage. romeo blames himself for mercutio's death and kills tybalt to avenge his friend. benvolio and mercutio argue about which of them is more hotheaded when tybalt comes looking for romeo. romeo arrives, and tybalt tries to provoke him into a fight. romeo tries to stop the fight. he is unsuccessful, and the fight escalates, leading to tybalt killing mercutio. romeo is horrified by what he has done in a fit of rage, and benvolio convinces him to flee from the scene. mercutio is disappointed by romeo's refusal to fight and challenges tybalt to fight him instead. tybalt agrees and the two begin to fight. the prince arrives at the scene with the heads if he montague and capulet families and punished romeo by banishing him from verona when he heard about the murder.
