Describe the conflicting viewpoints between china and tibet with regard to tibet's autonomy. where does tibet stand today with regard to chinese rule?

    China and its region Tibet have totally different viewpoints on how the region should function and where its future lies.

    While the Chinese officials firmly stand on it that Tibet is part of the country, the majority of the population nowadays is Han Chinese, and it can only have limited autonomy while be totally submissive to the government, the Tibetans have other views. The Tibetans want to be a free country, out of China, or at least to have larger autonomy from the central government, so they have been trying to accomplish that through propaganda, protests seeking for support from the international community, but with no success.

    China has also been very brutal in keeping its position often using force, taking prisoners, and not allowing for the protests to even take place, so for the time being it seems that they are wining the dispute.
