The rainforest are the forest with heavy rain and large forests are an important natural resource which are centers for biodiversity. They are evergreen trees with highest amount of rainfall. They protect soil from erosion, they prevent floods due to water retaining capacity, and they ensure drought situations not to occur. They store and filter water too.

The trees in these forests absorb carbon which is very important to control the emission of greenhouse gases. These trees also produces large quantity of oxygen because of the vast quantity of tree. Due to transpiration, water in the clouds hand over most of the rainforests. When there are no rains, these clouds keep the rainforests warm and humid.
