On the other hand, it has air movements that are are relatively strong and constant, which is something that is very useful for flight, thus the jets are flying in this layer in order to have easier and cheaper flight. What makes this layer very important and marking is the layer in itself, the ozone layer. This layer is crucial for the survival of the living organisms on the planet, as this is the layer that stops and absorbs the majority of the UV rays from the sun, thus not allowing them to reach the surface at their full potential, stopping them to fry alive the living organisms.
