Mother earth has experienced various natural climatic changes over various periods of its geologic history and due to the phase of rapid deforestation. and rapidly brought up charges by the man in the natural environment of the earth has drastically impacted the global warming of the planet. Cutting of the natural reserves and depletion of natural resources by the man in his greed for more and more like the continuous burning of forests and fossil fuels earth has experienced major climatic drifts.  The title in the orbit of the earth is associated with the changes in temperatures and climate over various latitudes and longitudes of earth and as a result, the surface of the earth is experiencing lots of rapid changes in sea level. As far as the asteroids are concerned no asteroid is big enough to have or has blocked the part of the earth from the solar radiation and that would have impacted the planet's insolation cycles.
