How has the invention of gps and the internet made finding a location using coordinates easier and more reliable?

Before, GPS and digital maps are available to military users. Apparently, due to some problems that needs solution with the help of finding locations, getting to the destination easier because you have to find someone or you have to same some lives at stake, GPS became available to common people. GPS or simply known as Global Positioning Satellites uses signals in outer space (by satellites) to navigate or see the whole map or location of a place. The coverage of GPS is the whole planet (Earth). There will be at least 24 satellites need to work together to flash or show the map with almost complete labels and picture. GPS also supports 3D views.  

Finding places becomes easier. Since the scope of GPS is the whole planet, you can browse wider pictures and places that you never visited. The means of data transfer is also fast compared to any maps. And as long as you have a device or connection, you can have access to GPS right away. It is also reliable because you can ensure updated information and map details are all you can get. Not to mention, GPS maps are always accurate and fast.
