Brexit weakens the United States as well, because Britain is one of the EU member states closest to America and with which it agrees on many issues.Brexit could also have a negative impact on the Union's enlargement policy, as Britain is one of its biggest proponents. People from the UK traveling across the ocean after the Brexitt referendum have found that they can buy less for pounds now.  A drop in the pound means an impetus for exports, as British goods will be cheaper in other countries, but some imported goods may therefore rise in price.
