However, ecosystems have big qualities that they share in common. In this case, each of these lizards is from a desert. They all live in areas that are dry and that do not receive much rainfall. They all have to deal with extreme climates and few sources of water. Even though they live in unique ecosystems that are thousands of miles away from each other, they all live in the same desert biome.
