1 I felt pity for the children and wondered what a distressing life it must have been for them to leave their warring country and trek to other neighbouring countries just to receive shelter. They also had to live with rationed necessities in the refugee camps which were not sufficient.

3. What makes a place nice is majorly the people in it. East Africa is plagued by incessant wars and that does not make it a nice place.

The Lost Boys is a term given by the refugee staff to displaced children who left Sudan to seek shelter in neighbouring countries. The conditions in the camps were not ideal for life because they were not allowed to leave the camps, their food and water were rationed, and they were constantly plagued with news of their loved ones who had died.
