The meat industry is one of the biggest ones and is constantly on the rise, which helps the economy a lot but has a very negative impact on Amazon.

The more cattle are raised for the production of meat, the more food is needed for it. This means that more and more land for grazing is needed, and since most of the available one is already used, what is left is the Amazon. The Amazon is enormous, but it is constantly shrinking, as it is facing rapid deforestation for opening up land for grazing, which leads to endangering a lot of species and a lot have already gone extinct. Basically, the more meat consumption grows, the more the meat industry will grow, and the more deforestation of the Amazon will occur.
