What precautions are taken to avoid earthquake?

1. Listen closely to your radio and make sure to listen to every thing the person says about the earthquake.

2. Grab all the needed things that the radio-man/woman says to.

3. Nowadays most skyscrapers are earthquake-proof so don't worry if you're in one while an earthquake is happening.

4. If you are in a skyscraper make sure to make your way to the bottom of the skyscraper because more people on the bottom creates more weight which essentially means less tilting.

5. Staying underneath any hard wooden thing.

6. Staying inside a house not near any sharp objects.

7. Don't go outside, but if you are in your car stay in your car, try and fit underneath the steering wheel.

8. Even though the shaking has stopped there is a possibility of an after-shock so stay under what you are for about 10 more minutes.

9. After the shock/s carefully inspect everything in your house for damage and then go to your neighbors and see if they're alright and tell them to check on their neighbors as well.
