The Fairtrade Fortnight 2021 will take place from 22 February – 7 March and the ‘Choose the World You Want Festival‘ will feature a series of virtual events designed to engage, inform and educate people around the urgent message of Fairtrade and climate change.

4. The academy aims to increase farmers' resilience to the effects of climate change by systematically training them and implementing insights, skills and techniques that will enable them to better adapt.

5. In addition to some growing interest in using manure for energy production, farmers are monetizing manure in the form of organic fertilizers that can be shipped around the country. According to the USDA, the poop from poultry and cattle feedlots is drier than that from dairy or hog farms.

6. When you choose Fairtrade coffee, not only can farmers build a better quality of life for their families and communities, they can invest in growing better quality beans too. Fairtrade coffee farmers invest at least 25 percent of their Fairtrade Premium in improving productivity and quality.
