Directions: Figure 2 shows three columns of rock layers which contain various fossils.
Assume that these columns represent rock layers from different continents. Identify
which fossils can be used as index fossils by encircling them. Remember, index fossils
should be (a) easily recognized, (b) found miles away from each other. (c) in a single
rock layer. You will encircle only 10 items (fossils) all in all (1 point each)
