When viewed from above, this current seems to flow like a river in the ocean.
This current starts from the hot part of the Earth, so what is carried is hot water flow. Current flows to the north until it approaches the cold poles of the Earth. This warm water current keeps the area in its path from freezing. Scandinavian countries benefit from this current. Sea ports in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands do not freeze during the winter. This port can still be used for ships to dock.
