What cultural changes have resulted from the information revolution?

With the information revolution, some cultural changes you can list are that most people are not likely to talk face to face as they used to (due to the internet and cell-phones).

With the information revolution, it also shows the horrors of the world to everyone a lot more quickly (which is both a good and bad thing).  This has led to the thought that the world and its people are getting worse but this is only because we have so much access to technology and information and we used to not have access to instant media alerts.
