What is the significance of polaris the north star

Though it is not by any way the brightest star, it shines humbly. It has been used for thousands of years to lead people as a compass of sorts. It sits almost directly over the North Pole, showing travelers which direction is north, therefore making it easy for them to figure out where the other cardinal directions were

Its in the national history museum and you can't se the original because its locked away in a vault 

This would be an open primary. a closed primary people can vote only prior to election day if the party if they are registered. independent voters can not participate. there is not a wide-open primary, but there is a semi-open primary.
