Q1. To what extent do each of the musics in this chapter reflect pre-Columbian, European, or African musical traits?

African music is rhythmic and vocalists utilize a vast variety of sounds.  

Europian music is based more around traditional and instrumentation, with music threory in the premise of what was being played.  Local individuals of Andes in South America, particularly individuals in country regions and rainforest regions, protected melodic practices accepted to originate before the appearance of Columbus.
