What is the definition of political implication

The core of politics is that our decisions influence the decisions of all of those around us. Because of that we have to be aware of how we are influencing those around us.

Political implications come in when we speak of complicated relationships. Picture this: You work in an office where you have good relationships with most of the office. Because you’re on good terms with the tech team, your requests tend to be resolved more quickly. There’s a new employee in a similar position to you, but they don’t get their work in on time and take credit for your work. You’ve been thinking about reporting this to your superiors, but this new employee is the cousin of the tech team lead. If you did report this employee to your boss, then the political implications would be that you likely upset the tech team lead if they hear about it.

This gets significantly more complicated as the groups of people get larger and more abstract. Countries are interrelated in many different ways even when just considering how they interact economically. Because of these complex interactions with every tax or spending plan there will be a ripple effect through the acting country and all related countries. The changes to relationships between leaders and countries because of those ripple effects are the political implications of a decision.
