Water and sanitation problems in the world are growing concerns. Communities in Africa, Southwest Asia, and many other parts of the world need access to safe water and sanitation.

Part I: List all the ways that you use water in a typical day or week. How much of that use is actually for your survival? Could you reduce the amount of water you use without impacting your health?

Part II: Does anyone own water? Is access to water a human right? Whose responsibility is it to provide people with resources like water? Is it likely that wars are and will be fought due to a lack of water?
