Difference between basic and acidic lava

Lava: Magma that reaches the earth's surface is called lava. It may be acidic or basic. Acidic lava is viscous, is lighter in color and has higher silica content. Basic lava is non-viscous, is darker in color and has lower silica content.

It is the doctrine that the us had the right and duty to expand throughout north america. it just means they believed they had the right to expand westward and they did! they stated with the 13 colonies and then they kept moving gaining different territories throughout the years
