(if you want more points answer this) why is shoreline erosion more severe during strong storms than during mild ones? -the waves hitting the shoreline have more energy during strong storms. -the waves hitting the shoreline have less energy during strong storms. -stronger storms bring stronger winds and wind does more damage to a shoreline than water. -the damage done due to storms is about the same during any kind of storm. correct the waves hitting the shoreline have more energy during strong storms.    i edited this question after confirming the right answer. leaving this here for anyone else who needs it : )
