Here are pictures of four different types of dwellings you could find in different German countries. Pick two or three out of these photos and compare them. Write two paragraphs in German of at least 2 sentences each.
In the first paragraph, compare the homes between each other. What makes them the same? What makes them different?
In the second paragraph, compare one of them with your own home: How is it the same? How is it different?
Finally, pick your favorite dwelling from the photos, explain in one or two sentences why you like it and if you would like to
live in it.
It is OK to use an English-German dictionary if you are going to use German words you have not learned yet.
*Note: This is a practice activity. Completing this activity will not only prepare you for future tests and assessments but,
more importantly, it will enhance your language ability. This activity will not count towards your grade.
