True I'm pretty sure because obesity isn't healthy and women who eat healthy while pregnant, have huge problems also the kids through out their lives have a love for unhealthy food also it's easier for the mom to get back into shape after she's pregnant if she's healthy. 

It can be peer pressure, also when they’re going through a lot of stuff at home
