Why does it sting when i turn my earring?

Its due to fluid drainage and the skin trying to form around it.

If could be infected but what I find helps is soaking a cotton pad or something with water and a pinch of salt and then just kind of wash round the earring but turn the earring as u wash it especially if it’s a new piercing

Keep your breathing calm and try to ignore it
