A35 year-old man accompanied by his wife has come for blood draws in the lab where you are a phlebotomist the man tells you he is terrified of needles what would be appropriate to say to him explain your answer

“Hello, I am . I am a trained, licensed phlebotomist and I will perform the draw. It is okay to be nervous. This will be a quick procedure and I will make sure to make it least uncomfortable.”  

Introducing oneself and qualifications/ experience reassures the patient of a successful blood draw. Acknowledging the patient’s fear and respecting his thoughts and feelings are important in establishing rapport and encouraging cooperation in healthcare procedures.  

(If the patient requests, the phlebotomist may ask an experienced/ preferred (by patient) colleague to perform the draw.)

they both can be important it depends on how you view them. wanting love can consume someone it shouldn’t be forced or it won’t work. caring about love is just a acknowledgment of how love work. : )
