Most times, a patient will behave during a visit. Not everyone likes to open up during sessions so it would be hard to open up for a lot of people. A patient will usually not behave when you provoke them, accuse them of something or   they feel like they are being judged. Some strategies of communicating is just listening, keeping an open mind and not rushing the patient to speak because its hard to open up right away.  Letting the patient take their time. Asking questions about it. Letting them know it's ok, you wont judge. Sometimes sharing personal experience is besttoo if you can relate.
