First, talk it out with your friend. You should try and motivate him by saying things like,

“If she doesn’t see how amazing you are, then she isn’t good enough for you.”

Also, distracting your friend always helps. If you can do things that will get his mind off her, then do it.

Give it time as well. Eventually, he will realize that he doesn’t even have feelings for her anymore, and will just let it go.

If your friend is being mean and rude to you, then discuss and remind him why he shouldn’t be mad at you. Also, if you are doing the distracting thing, then he will realize to not be mad at you.
