This is somewhat true. If your decision is going to hurt others then, yes you should worry about whether or not you will be affecting someone else.

Example - if you are deciding what you are going to be eatting for lunch, then no you don't have to worry whether or not this is going to be affecting someone, because this is only going to be affecting your self.

Example - if you are deciding what you are going to be making for the entire family, then yes you have to understand that maybe your sibling can't have peanut butter. if you make something with peanut butter for the family, then you are going to be affecting your siblings health.

This is really your point of view on this. In my opinion, sometimes yes you need to worry about whether something you deicide to do is going to affect others.
