Give an example of each of the two types of disabilities.

There are two types of disability - Physical and Mental

Physical - A physical disability is one that affects the physical movement abilities of the body and is either acquired from birth, from an illness or from a injury/accident. Examples would be cerebral palsy, paraplegia, muscular dystrophy, amputation, arthritis, stroke and spinal injury.

Mental - A mental disability is one that affects the emotional well being of a person and is a result of genetics, biology, social environment, trauma or drug use. Examples would be depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar mood disorder, personality disorders, trauma and eating disorders.
