This type of relationship become more important during childhood and adolescence; be accepted by your friends is a core purpose in those ages. In this way, social media can affect directly this social status. Nowadays, having social media popularity is as important as real life relations.

Moreover, following people is motivated by admiration towards that person, and being a "role model" in an specific area: fitness and aesthetic contexts are the most followed. So, if a person have a weak mind and insecurities, he or she can be affected in a negative way by other people "success", the main problem is that "success", in social media, is fake, but looks so perfect that can affect directly to people.
