False. All doctors are doctors but all practice in something else. You have doctors that study closer into bones, heart doctors, brain surgeons. All are doctors though. A sports medicine one just study's more into athletes and helping them with medicine to consume to release pain and checking to make sure they're healthy. When you have a broken arm from a sport people generally go to sports doctors because they have a different perspective vs. a pediatric Doctor that focuses on the health of minors.
