Emotions help us to let out our inner feelings and make us feel light. This reduces mental stress and helps to keep the heart healthy.

It helps to make better decisions.

Emotions are the best way to communicate to understand others as well as make others understand us more easily.

Emotions (positive) motivate a person intrinsically to perform well in a given situation or task.  

Negative emotions like anger, frustration, irritation etc should be reduced to decrease the stress caused by them and to maintain a healthy body.
